The Coll Association recently supported the Coll Golf Club in the purchase of a new tractor mower.
Our £500 donation was added to money saved by the Golf Club in addition to a donation from the Cranston family.
The new mower is currently being kept safe in Dumfries ahead of its voyage to Coll in May and will commence cutting duties in June ahead of the 2016 golfing season! David Moore sent a letter of thanks to the Coll Association for their support.
The dates of the 2016 Coll golf competitions are:
Thursday 21st July @ 6.30pm – The Vita Stableford
Sunday 24th July @ 1.30pm – The Member’s Cup
Thursday 28th July @ 12.45pm – The Coll Open
Sunday 31st July @ 1pm – The Campbell Scramble
With this new bit of kit, we’re sure the Coll Golf Course will be in fine condition come July! It is set to be a great summer for golf on Coll. Keep your eyes peeled for Davie, Campbell and Keith charging about getting the greens ready!
